Event Management
We were stoked to have worked alongside The Horowhenua Taste Trail for the 2022 season as their event managers!
Horowhenua Taste Trail is a not-for-profit organisation governed by the Horowhenua Taste Trail Trust. The Trail provides a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes, and sample delicious fresh produce, directly from the source.
Event Management
PomPom are the Programme Managers for the Electra Business & Innovation Awards. 2024 will see the Awards celebrate their 30th year - making them the longest-running NZ business awards - quite an achievement!
The Awards are a great way to celebrate and acknowledge those businesses doing amazing things in both the Kāpiti and Horowhenua regions. Recognising great leadership and excellent business practice, this really is the cream of the crop!
Event Management
We had the honour of supporting the next generation by working as EVolocity’s event team for their National, Wellington, Manawatu, Waikato and Nelson events.
EVolocity is the EV programme changing futures across Aotearoa. Through mentorship and a hands-on learning philosophy, EVolocity are on a mission to break down barriers and inspire young Kiwis into sustainable engineering while fast-forwarding New Zealand’s clean tech future.
Event Management
We had the privilege of managing the 2024 New Zealand Tourism Awards Night alongside Tourism Industry Aotearoa -TIA. This prestigious event capped off an action-packed at the TIA Tourism Summit, celebrating the very best in New Zealand tourism.
PomPom took charge of developing event content, booking and briefing suppliers, and creating an unforgettable evening for every guest, honouring the success of one of Aotearoa's most vital industries.
PomPom was engaged as the Event Managers. Helping create "a night to remember for a cause not to forget!"
The Cancer Society Ball is an annual Gala Ball to raise vital funds for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society and the important mahi they do within our communities. The Gala Ball is an entertaining evening with a black tie dress code, entertainment, three-course seated dining, live auctions and a dance floor finale - a must attend event!
Not for Profits
We had the absolute pleasure of assisting with TEDxKāpiti as Event Managers for their inaugural Kāpiti event. It was a wonderful event that brought together the local community and wonderful speakers for a jam-packed day of inspirational talks.
The theme was Emerge; Emerge means to come to light. This was exactly what the event brought to the Kāpiti Coast with thought-provoking talks, wonderful entertainment and brought opportunities to engage with likeminded people!
Not for Profits
Project Management
PomPom manages its programmes, events, marketing and communications, as well as supporting with whatever else is required to make things happen!
This is a project we believe in, and supporting and empowering the youth of Aotearoa is something we are proud to be a part of!
Work Ready Kāpiti provides programmes to assist youth in transitioning successfully into the workplace. They run #EmployerMeet events, Wex a work experience programme and provide a Kāpiti Work Ready Passport course which is run through local colleges to assist youth in getting work ready.
Project Management
PomPom were the Event Managers for Takutai Kāpiti, a community summit in 2020 to launch this initiative.
As a coastal district, the communities on the Kāpiti Coast are facing significant environmental challenges as a result of our changing climate and rising sea levels which will erode the coastline over time.
The Kāpiti Coast District Council knows that communities that plan for change and work together are more resilient in the face of that change; they are embarking on a significant community engagement project that aims to encourage and empower its people to become more aware of the impacts of climate change and sea level rise and to take part in developing solutions and pathways for adapting to coming change.
Marketing and Communications
The PomPom team had the joy of working alongside MAINZ to create their foundational strategic marketing documents including their: Marketing Plan, Communication Schedule and Social Media Guidelines for both Auckland and Christchurch Campuses.
MAINZ or The Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand is a faculty of the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) with Campuses in both Auckland and Christchurch. They offer a range of programmes designed with the music industry in mind.
Marketing and Communications
The PomPom team had the honour of assisting the wonderful charity Kai Aroha in the development and curation of their website. Creating a one-stop shop for all information about their charity and upcoming free community meals.
Kai Aroha is a voluntary-based, non-profit charity organisation based in Tauranga Moana, Te Moana-a-Toi, Aotearoa, (Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand). Kai Aroha provides a free community meal to anyone and everyone in need of kai.
Marketing and Communications
From content creation for social media to blog posts to newsletters, PomPom helped Action Safety create a comprehensive Marketing Plan and Communication Schedule as well as managing the ongoing role out of all content.
Action Safety is your one-stop shop for everything tradie and health & safety related! They’re considered one of New Zealand’s leading online retailers for safety equipment, footwear and clothing!
